About the Opportunity
We are seeking an articling student for the 2026-2027 term.
You will gain valuable experience in all of our main fields of practice. As an articling student, you will perform a variety of tasks including:
Drafting memoranda for mediations, pre-trials, etc.;
Drafting pleadings and motion materials;
Assisting in and attending trials, mediations, and discoveries;
Regularly communicating with clients;
Researching and writing on various legal topics; and
Helping to develop files in coordination with lawyers and clients.
You will be an important part of our team.
Your strengths will include:
Demonstrated experience and/or interest in employment, labour, corporate, and/or construction law and civil litigation more generally;
Excellent analytical, writing, oral communication, research, and interpersonal skills;
The ability to work independently; and
Good time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

MID-LEVEL LITIGATION LAWYER, 3-5 YEARS

About the Opportunity
We are looking for an associate with 3-5 years’ experience to assist the partners on litigation matters. This will include a wide variety of matters, including corporate/commercial disputes, injunctions, and arbitrations. Work will range from relatively straightforward loan matters to complex, multi-party matters. Many files, though not all, will be in the construction industry. Prior experience in construction litigation is an asset but is not a requirement. You will need to do research and drafting, but you will also take carriage of files with our guidance and mentorship. You will be an important part of our team.
Your work will include:
– meeting with clients
– preparing correspondence
– drafting pleadings
– preparing for and attending mediations, cross-examinations, and discoveries
– preparing for and attending motions, pre-trials, and trials in Superior Court
You will have:
– demonstrated experience in litigation
– excellent analytical, writing, oral communication, research, and interpersonal skills
– the ability to work independently
– good time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
