Nehreen Mehra is an Articling Student at Rousseau Mazzuca LLP.
She is an India-qualified lawyer. She earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from McGill University and an Integrated Bachelor of Arts-Bachelor of Laws (B.A. LL. B) degree from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in Delhi, India.
Prior to joining Rousseau Mazzuca, Nehreen worked at a boutique Dubai-based law firm specializing in construction and infrastructure disputes. She represented clients in high stakes and complex international construction arbitrations, including:
Acting for a leading Saudi construction company in a US$150 million dispute arising from a major electrical project in Oman.
Acting for an Indian infrastructure company in a dispute arising from a project awarded by the Indian High Commission in Mauritius.
During her studies, Nehreen received recognition in the global rounds of international investment arbitration moots, worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Andrea Bjorklund, and published articles, including co-authoring a book review for the Arbitration International Journal (Oxford University Press). She also interned at the International Bar Association’s (IBA) London office, contributing to legal policy projects on emerging issues, including artificial intelligence and climate change.
Outside of work, Nehreen enjoys exploring nature, strength training, biking, and travelling. She is passionate about health, fitness, and mental well-being.
